Roadworks around Bishop’s Stortford Route I update

Acme have agreed with the Bishop’s Stortford roadworks Project Manager that from tomorrow morning, Thursday 12th October, the timetable has been brought forward and the bus will drop the children for Birchwood School at a temporary bus stop at the junction of the A120 and Dunmow Road (where the roundabout used to be).

There will be marshals on duty to direct children via a fenced off pathway where they will continue their journey to school on foot.

Tanton Road car park has been introduced as a morning pick-up (at 07:10 prompt) and afternoon drop-off.

Apart from the extra drop-off at Tanton Road, the afternoon service will not change.

The new temporary timetable is as follows:
