It’s that time of year again and we’re busy preparing for the new school year, this year has presented many challenges for everyone but we’re glad things are beginning to return to normality.
As always we’re experiencing an increased number of emails and phone calls from parents regarding their children’s transport and we wanted to put your minds at ease by answering the two most common questions we get this time of year.
Q: When will timetables be published?
A: Timetables will be getting added and updated in the days running up to the beginning of term, we advice you to regularly check our website for more information, if you can’t find a timetable for 20/21 don’t panic, check back at a later time as it’s normal for timetables to become available a few days before term begins.
Q: Where’s my bus pass?
A: Bus passes are created and processed a week or two before term begins once we’ve stopped processing our private bookings (21st August for this year), as you can imagine we transport thousands of passengers and this is no small task. If you’ve booked on by 21st August or are an Essex entitled passenger there’s nothing you need to do, you will receive your bus pass in the beginning of September.
We operate a grace period of 2 weeks so if you haven’t received your pass just yet that’s okay, you can still use the transport. If you are still waiting for your pass by the 14th September please give us a call and we’ll look into this for you.
